Rank Badges

Feedback needed, everybody. We're exploring a couple of different directions for the Rank Badges that will accompany your Character, should you choose to engage in Ranked PVP in the game. They will progress as you Rank Up (from 25 to 1), but it's the look and feel that I want your opinions on here.

Take a look and let us know which you prefer and why:

a little confused here. Do you want feedback on the individual image we like best? Or the top to bottom progression path? Top right is clearly the most epic looking. The bottom badges are plain and good for the low level pvp levels. It seems there's a gap in progression visuals though between the top and bottom, like there needs to be other badges that transition the bottom badges to the top.

I actually like the top one more as some thing to earn, but I think it's too busy. And so, for simple design and clarity of information in what I'm looking at I vote bottom (hehehe, butt).

I initially liked the top ones better, but the more I look at them, the more I prefer the bottom row for progression. They are cleaner and I can immediately distinguish differences in rank, whereas the top row is very busy and causes me to doubt my initial judgment of rank.

Interesting reactions. Verrrry interesting. We're building out more, so keep the comments coming as you peruse. 

For both, what do you specifically like?

The top row looks rad, like reminds me of DBZ style anime where everyone/thing just gets more buff and spiky as they get more powerful. It appeals to the feeling of instant cool in me.

The bottom is clean, easy to parse, and looks really crisp. Its more pleasing to look at long term, I think.

I like how the top row looks more epic. However, I think the bottom row is more original. I think a combination of the two would be cool. I think the numbers on the top row look far more superior than the bottom row.

Top row looks like it was made for a computer game, the bottom row looks like maybe my dude actually made it himself. I like things that make sense.

Both top n bottom design look & feel good...I would assume that before getting bronze, silver & gold ranking, the rest of the unseeded player would receive the "left" medal... But I can"t connect the dots of how the unseeded medal evolve to the top tier as compare to the bottom ones.

Interesting and unexpected! (but that's why I ask)

We're driving the top ones forward from Bronze to Silver to Gold to Plat to Diamond (whaaaat) right now in concept to see what you think. Will have updates on it next week.

I don't like one part of the silver versions. The blue "diamonds" are all on the right side. I like things symmetrical. So one left first and then one right. (After that another one left and then one right again.) Like the bronze version has.

PS. The longer I look to v1 silver the more I have the feeling a bird is looking back at me.

I also think in addition to the top ones being awesome, there could additional badges for top 3/5/10 players in rankings

I like them both, and I think a combination of the two would look great. The lower in rank could have the bottom row and the higher in rank could have the top row. Basically as you get higher in rank the design gets more and more epic, which is how I see the top row versus the bottom row.
